Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire the basic knowledge about tourism geography and to introduce the tourism resources in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can define the concepts of geography and tourism geography PO-2 Have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of concepts, principles, theories and facts related to tourism management and similar disciplines.
PO-6 Describe, synthesize, interpret, analyze and evaluate information and data relevant to a professional context.
PO-19 Have detailed knowledge of geography and culture of both Turkey and the world, and evaluate this knowledge in terms of tourism supply and demand.
