Objectives of the Course
To inform the students about the operation of the front office and its relations with other departments, to ensure that they learn about the work and operations in the front office department.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the procedures to front office department of hotel management PO-1 Describe the basic concepts concerning tourism and hotel management
PO-4 Know how to organize and provide accommodation, food&beverage and other services served in hotel managements.
PO-7 Know how to operate computer automation systems used in tourism and hotel managements and use these systems efficiently.

PO-2 Know the legal arrangements and professional standards in the field of tourism and hotel management.

Course Contents
The organizational chart of the hotel and front office department, the functions of this department and the functions of the employees and the functional relations between other departments, terms used in the front office, the operation of the front office departments, reservation, consultation, reception and switchboard, and the content and functions of the documents used, relations with the guests and end-of-day operations.
