Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire preliminary skills and knowledge necessary for language proficiency examinations such as YDS.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can learn advanced structures in English language. PO-2 Demonstrate reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in English at the B2 level of European Language Portfolio.

LO-2 can understand texts at advanced level. PO-2 Demonstrate reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in English at the B2 level of European Language Portfolio.

Course Contents
Basic and Advanced Preparation for Language Proficiency Examinations: YDS, Further reading skills in understanding implications in a variety of text types; responding to ideas in texts, synthesizing information and implications in texts on the same topic and improving vocabulary development strategies with focus on different styles.
