Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable the students to acquire the knowledge and skills required for advanced self-expression and translation from English to Turkish through analysis, discussion and practice on various field-specific sentences and texts.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can translate English texts into Turkish at advanced level. PO-2 Demonstrate reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in English at the B2 level of European Language Portfolio.

Translation methods and techniques, translation studies in social sciences, idioms, collocations and advanced vocabulary; translating original English texts on various subjects and genres into Turkish.
