Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire intermediate skills necessary for translation from Turkish to English and advanced skills necessary for translation from English to Turkish through analysis, discussion and practice with a variety of texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can translate advanced level English texts into Turkish. PO-2 Demonstrate reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in English at the B2 level of European Language Portfolio.

Various translation methods and techniques, translation in social sciences, phrases, collocations; translating a variety of different genre of authentic English texts into Turkish and vice versa.
