Course Contents
Synthetic membranes, definition, classification, preparation methods and characterization. Physical Chemistry of Membranes and transport. Membrane separation processes (dialysis, electrodialysis, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, pervaporasyon) and applications (the separation of gas mixtures of organic liquids, aqueous solutions, hemodialysis, controlled-release)
