Can describe basic concepts and issues about environmental law and environmental management. |
PO-1 Have advanced knowledge about the basic concepts of business administration, the basic functions of the business management science, the historical development of it, its relationships with other disciplines, businesses and the environment, business objectives, feasibility studies, business functions, cooperation between firms and entrepreneurship, and apply them and make administrative decisions on these issues. PO-2 Analyze and design at the organizational level, understand the functions of business management that are planning, organizing, execution, coordination and control, describe and apply them, and be acknowledged with modern management perspectives.

Course Contents |
The activities of the organizations takes place inside an environment which includes environmental values such as water, earth, air, and other living things. Environmental management is building planning, coordination and auditing systems to ensure a healthy environment where natural values are protected and developed. The corporations should understand and respect the limitations of the nature both due to legal requirements and social responsibilities. Thus the course involves two main areas of interest: managerial and legal. The students will enhance their studies with case studies and empiric research. |
