The Turkish system of belief and thought can grasp the solution to today's social problems. |
PO-5 interpret, solve and produce new data by integrating the data obtained from both their field of study and different fields of study. PO-10 examine the social relations and the norms guiding these relations from a critical point of view and act on the spot to change them when needed. PO-16 grasp the knowledge related to their field of study and make it public in line with the norms.

Course Contents |
Basic concepts of mythology, myths origins, structure and functions, relationship between mythology and the other sciences, elements of Turkish mythology (sacred numbers in the Bektashism and Turkish mythology, ancient Turkish religious mythology, Buddhist mythology of the Turks, Maniheist mythology of the Turks, Creation epic: Yakuts, Lebed Tatars and Altai Turks texts; Apocalyptic / epics about the end of the world: Telengit, Teleüt and Turks from the Altai texts) will be examined. |
