Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of the Basic Energy Sources course is to introduce students to different methods of electricity generation, to help them understand the working principles, development processes, and industrial applications of these methods. In addition, the course aims to provide knowledge and skills for evaluating major energy sources—such as thermal, hydro, solar, natural gas, wind, geothermal, nuclear, and biomass—in terms of their environmental impacts, current energy demands, and sustainable energy policies. |
