Objectives of the Course
To teach the importance and the usage of biostratigraphy in establishing the stratigraphy.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Comprehends paleontological correlation and biostratigraphy units PO-1 An ability to apply knowledge of basic engineering sciences and earth sciences for the solution of geological engineering problems.
PO-2 An ability to identify, formulate, and solve geological engineering problems and knowledge of contemporary issues.
PO-3 An ability to design field experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data for a predifined engineering purpose.
