Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to read and understand scientific texts as well as their ability to recognize the scientific text of text and discourse features and enabling people to produce scientific texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Scientific texts types (thesis, popular science writing, etc.) will be able to separate them. PO-4 Use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study.
PO-7 Carry out independent studies requiring expertise related to their field of study
PO-12 Maintain oral and written communication by using a foreign language on level B2 in European Language Portfolio.

Evaluating the contribution to the contemporary Turkish literature from the texts of the Turkish method of teaching benefiting from the text linguistics, to focus on the features of the appropriate text selection.
