Objectives of the Course
This course aims to teach the basics to successfully manage a destination.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the values and attractions of the destination PO-5 With theoretical and practical experience in the industry, analyzes the problems encountered and solutions.
PO-7 Understands the importance of cultural heritage tourism in the area.

Tourism and destination management, the periods of tourism development, economic impacts, environmental impacts, social impacts, public and regional organizations, the role of public sector in tourism development, tourist behavior and choice of destination, tourism marketing, image improvement, the problems faced in destination management, preservation of nature and culture elements, case studies, destination management in Turkey.
