Objectives of the Course
With the students, practical folklore and the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Convention by the deliberations in the direction of culture from generation to generation in the transition "cultural tourism" approach to the role will be discussed and practices in this area studies and theories through critical reading will be done.

LO-1 Applied folklore and the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage to comprehend the opinions set forth in PO-20 Cultural heritage management and protection of the basic legislation, regulations and international agreements define.

LO-2 n the transition of culture from generation to generation "cultural tourism" approach to discuss the role of PO-10 Management and protection of cultural heritage with the basic principles, historical and cultural context is diagnosed within.

Course Contents
The concept of folklore, its development process and its relationship with tourism, Intangible cultural heritage elements and tourism relationship, handicrafts and tourism relationship, literature and tourism relationship, traditional Turkish cuisine culture and gastronomy tourism, ethnic origin and diaspora tourism, faith tourism, used in tourism animation folkloric elements.
