Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with detailed knowledge of the general provisions of the Turkish Code of Obligations, the basic concepts of the law of obligations such as obligation and liability, legal transactions, freedom of contract and particularly the three different sources of obligations which are composed of contracts, torts and unjust enrichment, other legal reasons (such as solidarity, conditional obligations and penalty clauses for non-performance).

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Be able to differentatie obligation, liability, legal transactions and contacts PO-18 In addition to basic law knowledge, she/he has a minimum level of knowledge of the law of obligations, commercial law, insurance law, capital market law, and the law of commercial paper.

Course Contents
This course includes the general provisions of the Turkish Code of Obligations, the basic concepts of the law of obligations such as obligation and liability, legal transactions, freedom of contract and particularly the three different sources of obligations which are composed of contracts, torts and unjust enrichment, other legal reasons (such as solidarity, conditional obligations and penalty clauses for non-performance).
