Objectives of the Course
Chronologically,Hittities, late Hittities, Urarians,Frygians, Lydians, Lycians, Persians Hellenistic and Roman, cultures and technological developments in this period, settlements, architectural remains, small artifacts to examine the changes during these periods.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Students chronologically learns Hittities, late Hittities, Urarians,Frygians, Lydians, Lycians, Persians Hellenistic and Roman, cultures with the architecture of this period and will be informed about the developments in art. PO-1 Having theoretical and practical knowledges in Art History
PO-5 Having ability on semtinizing and evaluating the effects of materials, manufacturing technique, designing, political, social, economical, and ideological factors on production and progress of art and arhictecture products.

LO-2 Understands the cultural diversity of Anatolia PO-8 Realizing the meaning and importance of the History of Art in national or international aspects; being capable of evaluation and interpretation of art and architecture products that has survived.

Course Contents
Chronologically,Hittities, late Hittities, Urarians,Frygians, Lydians, Lycians, Persians Hellenistic and Roman period cultures are examined. The technological accumulation, settlements, architectural remains and small artefacts in these periods; they are evaluated by taking into consideration the formation processes and changes. The relations with neighboring cultures are compared in the case of material cultural remains. Within this process, differentiations in beliefs are explained in the context of the transformations in management structures, their causes and consequences.
