Objectives of the Course
To understand Arabic and Persian word types in Arabic texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the primary and secondary letters in Arabic words. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-14 Participates related studies in the field.
PO-16 Performs interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Examination
LO-2 To list the Arabic words of Arabic origin, the main Arabic phonemes used in Ottoman and related examples. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-14 Participates related studies in the field.
PO-16 Performs interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Examination
LO-3 Knows the origins of words of Arabic origin and the ways of word derivation; recognizes the main Arabic, Persian prefixes and suffixes. PO-16 Performs interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.
PO-18 Apply the theoretical knowledge about the field to the fields of education, research and society.
PO-25 Develops individual skills related to artistic and sportive subjects.
