Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide the student with a basic theoretical and practical knowledge of the field; To teach the methods to be used in the evaluation of comparative mythology.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Explain the scope, subject, method and basic concepts of mythology. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-3 Learn the theories and concepts of folklore with the epistemological foundations and apply them to the materials they collect in their professional lives.
Examination
LO-2 Have knowledge about the history of myth research in folklore. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
