Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach students the scientific research process in a practical way and to provide them with research skills.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learn how to research and investigate in the scientific field. PO-10 Research on Japanese Language, Literature, Culture and History.
PO-13 Become able to benefit from informatics and information technology in the solution of the problems about their field.

Course Contents
Basic rules and methods required for conducting scientific research in the field of Japanese Language and Literature, determining the research topic and problem, literature review and source research, referencing and citation systems, developing research questions and hypotheses, research methods and design, quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods, determining the research model and sample, data collection techniques, data analysis, interpretation of findings and drawing conclusions, scientific writing rules.
