Objectives of the Course | |||||
This course aims to introduce students to the modern economy by introducing medium-term macroeconomic concepts and using them in macroeconomic and microeconomic analyzes. This derby will examine aggregate variables such as income, unemployment, inflation, exchange rates, balance of payments, government spending, taxes, borrowing, growth and their relation to each other. It will also examine how monetary policies and fiscal policies affect macroeconomic variables. |

LO-1 | Can explain the basic concepts and tools of macroeconomics, calculation and measurement of national income. |
PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-5 have upper explanation ability on the effects of economy policies on individuals and firms under the principles which are dominating economy. PO-6 have ability on examining and analyzing the effects of economic policies. PO-8 have ability on working with quantitative data about economics and using the tools about statistically data analysis. PO-11 have ability on defining economic variables and comment on the relationships between these variables. PO-16 report preparation that examine the economy in terms of sectoral and macroeconomic. |
