Objectives of the Course
The main purpose of this course is to make the students learn the knowledge about the world heritage sites and management plan and the knowledge about the use of tourism purposes of heritage sites.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Has the knowledge about the world heritage sites and management plan. PO-1 At the end of the programme the students should be able to: Have an understanding of the structure of the tourism industry, how it functions, and its significance for the development of the country.
PO-11 Understand, analyze and interpret the cultures, history, religions, and the art of the civilisations that have lived in Turkey.
PO-12 Have detailed knowledge of World and Turkey’s geography.
Examination

Course Contents
There are 19 world heritage sites in Turkey and many applicants waiting. In this lecture the legal regulations, management plans, risks and oppurtunities of the present world heritage sites will be researched. The scope is to upskill the students about developing ideas in the management of the world heritage sites.
