Objectives of the Course
To be able to know Civil Engineering and compare it with other engineering fields, To learn the basics of engineering profession and ethical rules, To know the specialties of Civil Engineering, To know expectations of Civil Engineers from civil and private sector, To learn techniques of solving engineering problems, To have knowledge about academic life skills and engineering career.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to use engineering tools for construction PO-2 Ability to determine, identify, formulate and solve the sophisticated engineering problems, to select and apply appropriate methods and techniques for this purpose.
PO-4 Skill of development, selection, using modern techniques and tools are necessary for engineering applications, ability of using information technology effectively.

LO-2 To develop solution techniques for engineering problems PO-6 Ability of working within single-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams effectively and skill of individual work.
