Objectives of the Course | |||||
The primary purpose of this course is to explain and discuss engineering characteristics of discontinuities, and a number of graphical methods used in discontinuity analyses, and to consider why discontinuity analyses can be of practical value to engineers. In addition, the other purpose is to present the fundemental conceps of the recently used modern soil classification systems in engineering with their field of applications and limitations. |
