Objectives of the Course
Theoretical and practical information necessary for the sustainability of international economic policies in accordance with national policies.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can learn the basic concepts of foreign exchange and foreign exchange markets. PO-7 have ability on considering the basic items of Money, Banking and Financial System and the treatment process of these items.
PO-11 have ability on defining economic variables and comment on the relationships between these variables.
Examination
LO-2 Can explain the reasons for intervention and the means of intervention in foreign trade. PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-6 have ability on examining and analyzing the effects of economic policies.

LO-3 Can explain balance of payments. PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-8 have ability on working with quantitative data about economics and using the tools about statistically data analysis.

Course Contents
Traditional international economic policies, new trade policies, balance of payments concept and analysis, foreign trade and national income, imbalance problems in the balance of payments, automatic balancing mechanisms, external balancing politics, exchange politics and balance of external payments.
