Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course Structural Analysis for the period as of The Economics of Turkey has put it.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can evaluate the Turkish economy through macroeconomic variables. PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-2 have basic information about treatment rules between individuals, markets and countries.
PO-3 have information about the reasons and results of transition that take place in economics.
PO-7 have ability on considering the basic items of Money, Banking and Financial System and the treatment process of these items.
PO-9 have ability on commenting current economic issues considering economic theory in the view of sociology.
Examination
LO-2 can give information about structural transformation of the Turkish economy. PO-3 have information about the reasons and results of transition that take place in economics.

Course Contents
Turkey's natural and demographic characteristics, economic policies implemented in Turkey, national income and income distribution, the overall structure of the sectors that make up Turkey's economy: agriculture, structural changes and developments in the industrial sector, energy sector, the service sector, state-owned enterprises, regional development plans, privatization, inflation, balance of payments, money markets and banking in Turkey.
