Objectives of the Course
the aim of the course, to teach the structure, physical and chemical properties of polymers, polymerization and some polymerization reactions.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Have knowledge about basic concepts in polymer chemistry. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.

LO-2 Have knowledge about the physical and chemical properties of polymers. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.

Basic concepts in polymer chemistry, physical and chemical properties of polymers, polymerization methods, polymerization of radicals, radicalicization, anionic polymerization, cationic polymerization, copolymerization reactions, polymerization reactions of compounds containing cyclic structure, comparison of polymerization reactions, importance of polymer chemistry today, and some important polymers
