Objectives of the Course | |||||
One of the main objectives of the course is to define the processes of the establishment of society in parallel with the social organization that develops with the coexistence of human communities. Thus, it is aimed to prepare a comprehensive ground on the characteristics of the society that other courses in the sociology department education plan focus on. For this purpose, the social and historical developments of different world civilizations are examined as examples. |

Course Contents | ||
The content of the course is the transition of human communities to settled order, coexistence, and the establishment of society within the framework of the social organization brought about by coexistence. In addition, the basic social and cultural characteristics of various world civilizations are discussed as examples. The civilizations covered in the course are Mesopotamian Civilizations, Anatolian Civilizations, Asian Civilizations, American Civilizations. | ||
