Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to teach which structures work during sports movements and how these structures are affected.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to explain anatomical terms PO-11 Understands the instructional methods for teaching physical education.
PO-20 Associates her/his basic information of human anatomy, kinesiology, and health with the knowledge of the coaching field.

LO-2 To understand the functions and structures of cells and tissues PO-8 Applies sports-specific techniques for physical educational applications.
PO-15 Develops various types of measurement and evaluation tools to evaluate the skills he/she taught in physical education.

Course Contents
Anatomical Terms and Concepts, Anatomical Structures: Muscles, Joints, Bones; Basic Structures of Human Body: Cell, Tissue, Organs and structures of the system; Planes, Axes, Functions During Contraction of Muscles and Their Joint Movements; Muscles Playing Role in Movements: Upper extremity muscles, Elbow joint muscles, Lower extremity muscles, Muscles affecting the hip joint and knee joint.
