Objectives of the Course
Examining the situation of the Balkans in the 18th century, the strategic position of the Balkans, the place and importance of nationalism movements that emerged in the 19th century in Turkish and World history.

LO-1 To have information about the geographical boundaries of the Balkans and sources related to the Balkan history PO-4 Use the interdisciplinary approach at learning process.

Examination
LO-2 Understand the role and effects of the Balkans in Turkish and World History. PO-3 Define the historical problems, evaluate with a critical approach, analyze with theoretical and applied knowledge.

Examination
LO-3 Analyze the origins of the developments in the Balkans today. PO-2 Discover, assess, analyze, and evaluate the correctness, reliability, and validity of historical data.
