Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Define periodontal instruments and their uses. PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-4 Interprets and evaluates data, defines and analyzes problems, and develops evidence-based solution proposals by using knowledge and skills related to contemporary dentistry.
Examination

Periodontal instruments and their use, Non-surgical periodontal treatment, Mechanical plaque control, Chemotherapeutic approaches in periodontal treatment, Periodontal surgical treatments, Resective and regenerative surgical applications, Furcation problems, Periodontal plastic surgery, Supportive periodontal treatment, Multidisciplinary treatment approaches, Peri-implant diseases and treatments
