Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to reveal the changes and transformations of the traditional Alevi belief system in general and the rituals and narrative tradition in particular in the urbanization and modernization processes.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Will have information about the change and transformation of Alevism. PO-1 Have basic and general knowledge about the field/discipline.
PO-3 Apply the theoretical and applied knowledge gained in the field in the fields of education, research and community service.

LO-2 Gains knowledge of Alevi teaching in the past and present. PO-5 Can convey scientific information clearly and effectively.

Course Contents
The changes and transformations that Alevism has experienced in the historical process, the ways in which Alevism is perceived as identity and the daily life interpretations of the Alevi ethno-religious identity perception will be evaluated with the main sources, archive documents and interview techniques.
