Chemical elements necessary for life are provided from living and non-living parts of nature or the environment. These elements have gas or sediment cycles. In the gas cycle, elements move towards the atmosphere. The main storage areas are the atmosphere and oceans. In sedimentary cycles, elements move from land to water and sediment. | ||
