Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to define genetics and to explain basic genetic concepts with examples related to animals.

Course Contents
This course covers general genetics concepts, organisms used in genetic studies, heredity, heredity models in animals and the development of genetics in terms of animal genetics, heredity models in animals, gene interaction and types, structure and organization of genetic material.
