Will be learned (i) how to describe of a parasite (ii) the nomenclature and the life-cycle of parasites (iii) the history of parasitology and (iv) the genesis of parasites. |

| Course Contents |
| This course covers parasitological terms, nomenclature of parasites, ways of transmission of parasites in general, reproduction, development, damage they cause and ways of protection from parasites. It covers the development, epidemiology, pathogenicity, diagnosis and prevention of parasites found in some cattle and small cattle, some poultry, some equids, cats and dogs.
