Objectives of the Course
In this course, it determines the care-nutrition alternatives for healthy breeding in line with different animal species, breeding methods and expected yield characteristics and aims to prepare appropriate feeding programs.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Structure of cattle breeding, selection and breeding methods, bull selection and bull index PO-2 Interprets vital signs of animals and performs basic first aid in appropriate cases.
PO-10 Assists the physician in applications (non-invasive drug and vaccine applications) about prevention, control and treatment of diseases.
LO-2 Important diseases in dairy and beef cattle breeding, prevention and control for cattle diseases PO-10 Assists the physician in applications (non-invasive drug and vaccine applications) about prevention, control and treatment of diseases.
LO-3 Structure of sheep breeding, culling and selection of sheep PO-2 Interprets vital signs of animals and performs basic first aid in appropriate cases.
PO-6 Recognizes clinical examination, imaging devices and surgical instruments and supports the veterinarian during the safe use of these devices.

Course Contents
This course provides practical information on cattle breeding, sheep breeding, goat breeding, poultry and beekeeping; It covers breeding systems, shelter systems, production, yield, nutrition, marketing and economic information.
