Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to give information about the classification of parasitic arthropods found in animals and humans, their morphological, biological characteristics and diseases they carry, their diagnosis and methods of combating them. |

LO-1 | Recognize arthropods parasitizing in pets and humans |
PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features. PO-5 Recognizes parasitic infections and assists the veterinarian in further studies (vaccination, hygiene measures, medication etc.) for controlling the patients with models of infectious disease transmission. PO-11 Carries out all kinds of applications planned by the veterinarian. PO-12 Recognizes and uses the scientific knowledge. |
