Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge about reproduction and artificial insemination in cattle, sheep and horses, and to train assistant technical staff who can know and apply artificial insemination and laboratory services.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learning the reproductive anatomy and physiology of cattle and sheep. PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features.

LO-2 Detection of signs of estrus in large and small cattle and learning to use it in artificial insemination PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features.

Course Contents
This course includes genital organ examination in male and female animals, andrological examination systematics, semen collection methods, examination with the biochemical structure of semen, dilution of semen and short/long storage of semen, cases of infertility in male animals, oestrus symptoms in females, and current reproductive techniques with the most appropriate insemination time.
