Objectives of the Course | |||||
This course aims to introduce students to legal translation, which is a special field of translation. The subjects covered in the course include the nature and general characteristics of the legal language, the source of the difficulties encountered in legal translation, and the equivalence of legal texts. |

Students will be able to understand the terminology of legal system either in source or in target language, and translate legal texts such as laws or written agreements. | ||
