Objectives of the Course

To teach the history and application techniques of Turkish Ebru art, paints, materials and marbling types used in Turkish Ebru art.

Course Contents
In this course, the terminology, historical development of the art of Ebru, and the relationship between the types of Ebru and especially the disciplines related to book arts will be explained on examples. The traditional dyes and materials used in Turkish Ebru art will be introduced and prepared. Ebru varieties will be defined on the first samples and their applications on paper will be done step by step.
