Objectives of the Course
The main aim of this course is to introduce students to language families, theory of Altaic languages, the place of Turkish in the classification of world languages; Historical periods and sources of Turkish language; Turkish teaching in the historical process; To gain knowledge and experience about the findings related to teaching Turkish in the historical sources of Turkish.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Have information about the history of education and training of Turkish from the beginning to the present. PO-1 Has advanced theoretical and applied knowledge supported by textbooks containing up-to-date information in the field, application tools and other resources.
