| The main aim of this course is to provide Turkish language teacher candidates with basic information about speaking education (basic concepts, historical process, etc.), physical and mental elements of speaking; speech memory-vocabulary relationship, simultaneous (via sensory memory) and diachronic (via memory memory) thinking; body language and its elements; production of prosodic features (stress, tone, melody, etc.) in speech; types of speech, oral expression (argumentative/persuasive, informative, aesthetic speaking, etc.) and conversation; educational environments for speaking skills; speaking methods and techniques; measuring and evaluating speaking skills, designing speaking activities. PO-1 Has advanced theoretical and applied knowledge supported by textbooks containing up-to-date information in the field, application tools and other resources. PO-5 Takes responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to solve unexpected complex problems faced within the implementations in the field. PO-6 Plans and manages activities towards the development of subordinates in the framework of a project.
