Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the aims of mathematics teaching, the basic strategies and methods that they can use in mathematics teaching.

LO-1 Can explain the aims and basic principles of primary school mathematics teaching. PO-1 Has the information of teaching programs, teaching strategies, measurement and assessment methods related to the field.

Course Contents
This course covers the aims and basic principles of primary school mathematics teaching; examining the primary school mathematics curriculum in terms of purpose, content, philosophical approach, teaching methods, measurement and evaluation techniques; mathematical understanding, misconceptions and difficulties in primary school students; It covers measurement and evaluation subjects in primary school mathematics lessons.
