| The period from the establishment of the Ottoman state (1299) to the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (1774); political developments in the Ottoman Empire during this time; state organization and local government units; social life and social institutions, cultural developments and characteristics of important personalities; The relationship of the Ottoman Empire with other surrounding states and communities. | ||
