Objectives of the Course | |||||
This course is designed to enhance students' awareness of quality assurance approaches and standards, to provide the students with deeply understanding the principles and requirements of standardization, certification, accreditation, and quality in foreign trade as an integrated approach to increasing the competitiveness of goods and services, achieving the fair competition among traders, and protecting the domestic consumers'. |

LO-1 | Having a knowledge understanding of the international standards to facilitate trade through harmonization of standards |
PO-3 have basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of foreign trade PO-4 have the ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate information related to foreign trade. PO-5 communicate their ideas and suggestions related to foreign trade to the relevant people in written and oral form. PO-19 understand the objectives and operations of international institutions affecting and regulating the international trade and investments. PO-20 be able to apprehend the significance of international trade and evaluate its effects on national economy. |

LO-2 | Describe how to align regional approach to dealing with sanitary measures and technical barriers to trade issues with WTO norms. |
PO-3 have basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of foreign trade PO-10 knows about the regulations and transactions related to import and export, implements this knowledge by means of computer software packages. PO-19 understand the objectives and operations of international institutions affecting and regulating the international trade and investments. |
