Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to be a guide for those who want to conduct a literature review in the field of Arabic rhetoric by introducing the works written in the field of rhetoric and providing necessary and important information about their authors.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 They can recognize scholars who played an active role in the formation, rise and expansion of the science of rhetoric PO-6 Can be able to use the knowledge they have obtained in their field of study in order to promote the level of education, culture and arts of the society.

LO-2 They can explain the studies carried out in the field of rhetoric in our country. PO-3 Can be able to make an efficient use of the resources in a relevant field of study based on their graduate level of qualifications.

LO-3 They can also make lexical and linguistic definitions of the word eloquence. PO-6 Can be able to use the knowledge they have obtained in their field of study in order to promote the level of education, culture and arts of the society.

LO-4 While introducing the works written in the field of rhetoric, it may also contain necessary and important information about their authors. PO-1 Can be able to improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.

Course Contents
The scholars who played an active role in the formation, rise and expansion of the science of rhetoric will be introduced. Studies carried out in the field of rhetoric in our country will be explained. Lexical and linguistic definitions of the word Belâgat will also be made. While the works written in the field of rhetoric will be introduced, necessary and important information about their authors will also be given. The subject will be covered in five different categories: Studies Conducted Around the Quran, Studies Conducted in the Field of Language and Literature, Studies Conducted in the Field of Literary Criticism, Studies Conducted in the Field of Direct Rhetoric and Other Studies. Then, it will be concluded by summarizing and evaluating the subject.
