Objectives of the Course
To introduce microstructure examination techniques commonly used in materials engineering and research, to teach the applications where these techniques are required, and how to evaluate the properties of materials such as thermal properties, phase structures, and chemical analysis.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 students can clasificate material analysis techniques. PO-1 Accesses information in depth and breadth by conducting scientific research in the field of engineering, evaluates, interprets and applies information.
PO-3 Constructs engineering problems, develops methods to solve them and applies innovative methods in solutions.

LO-2 students can explain macro and microstructural analysis approach. PO-1 Accesses information in depth and breadth by conducting scientific research in the field of engineering, evaluates, interprets and applies information.

It is based on examining the microstructural and macrostructural characteristics of the products used in the field of metallurgy and materials, using appropriate analysis methods.
