Objectives of the Course
This course aims to understand the effects of exercise on the cardiovascular system, design and implement appropriate exercise programs to improve cardiovascular health. It also emphasizes the role of exercise and sport in the prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases.

LO-1 Have in-depth knowledge about the structure and functioning of the cardiovascular system. PO-2 Gains in-depth knowledge of exercise physiology and training science and can use this knowledge in practical applications.

Course Contents
This course includes anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, acute and chronic effects of exercise on the cardiovascular system, pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases, cardiovascular risk factors and the effects of exercise on these factors, exercise tests and evaluation methods in cardiovascular diseases, The topics include exercise prescription in the prevention and treatment of these diseases, the development of cardiovascular exercise programs for different populations (children, the elderly, women), and the monitoring and evaluation of cardiovascular responses during and after exercise.
