Objectives of the Course
The main purpose of this course is to examine group dynamics and team work processes within individual and team athletes and to provide the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills for effective team membership. In this context, basic processes such as team characteristics, motivation, group harmony and group roles are discussed.

Course Contents
It covers the definition of group and team concepts, group formation stages, group structure and norms, different types of teams and the functioning of these teams in organizations, the roles and responsibilities of team members and the acquisition of skills required for effective team membership, communication processes within the team, the importance of cooperation and coordination, increasing motivation in teams, the process of ensuring group harmony and commitment, the management of conflicts that arise in teams and the acquisition of creative problem-solving techniques, leadership skills in teams, leadership theories and the process of evaluating team performance.
