Objectives of the Course

This course aims to provide the students with the skills to identify and compare the elements that constitute sports policies, to determine the level of implementation of sports policies, to develop solutions to the problems that arise in practice, and to critically interpret the current sports policies implemented in Turkey.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1	Be able to recognize and compare the elements that constitute sports policies.	PO-10 Can use digital sports technologies and data analytics to assess and improve athletes' performance. Course Contents
Chronological analysis of sports policies implemented during the Republican era. It includes sports policies and approaches included in development plans, sports councils, government programs and political party programs, introduction and comparison of the elements that constitute sports policies, determination of the implementation levels of sports policies and development of solution proposals for problems that arise in practice, and critical examination of current sports policies implemented in Turkey.
