This course aims to raise awareness of gender equality among students and to apply this knowledge in the context of sports sciences by addressing the concept of gender and its reflections in the field of sports. |

It covers the definition of gender, the formation of gender roles and their cultural effects, gender inequalities in sports, the experiences of female and male athletes, policies and practices for gender equality at national and international levels, gender representations in the media and the role of sports media, gender equality in education and its evaluations in the context of sports education, legal regulations regarding gender equality and their reflections in the field of sports, women's health, health problems faced by female athletes and the effects of gender on health. | ||
