Course Contents |
This course covers teaching the differences between management and leadership by examining the concept and theories of leadership, examining the characteristics of leaders, their sources of power and traditional and contemporary leadership styles in detail, comprehensively evaluating the management functions of planning, organizing, executing, coordinating and monitoring processes by focusing on leadership practices in sports organizations, developing students' strategic perspectives with strategic management and planning, organizational culture and change management issues, and teaching the basic skills required for leadership such as effective communication skills, team management, decision-making processes and problem-solving techniques.
